meet nina
Nina Belén Robins is a three time National Slam poet and author of the books of poems, Supermarket Diaries and A Bed with my Name on It and T. Gondii.
She works in the bakery department of a supermarket and lives with her husband and cats.
She spent much of her life living in various institutions but has finally broken free and wants to work with everyone to normalize and destigmatize mental illness as best she can.
For every copy of A Bed with my Name on It she sells she donates a dollar back to the YWCA where she lived for nine years as she learned to cope with her mental illness in the real world.
Without the help of the YWCA she would have been institutionalized indefinitely.
